Alternatively, you can ring our reception team 0115 932 5229 to book an appointment.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
To cancel your appointment you can use our Online Services or call the reception team on 0115 932 5229.
Please Note – if you are late for your appointment you may not be seen. It is unfair on anyone else waiting to be held up further.
Patients who repeatedly fail to attend appointments (twice in a 6-month period) and do not contact the surgery in advance to enable the appointment to be re-released will be sent a letter reminding them of the impact and consequences of not attending and not cancelling appointments in advance.
A further incident of failure to attend an appointment or failure to cancel an appointment within the period would result in a final letter detailing the potential for the patient to be removed from the practice list.
Any further occasion of the patient failing to attend or adequately cancel an appointment would result in the practice reviewing the circumstance leading to the failure and possibly a letter informing the patient they have been removed from the practice list.
We will also monitor the patient’s attendance of appointments at clinics and hospitals for treatment we have referred the patient to receive.

GP surgeries in Ilkeston have changed the way in which you are seen for urgent, same day appointments. These changes are being made to ensure that all patients that need to see a GP or nurse on the day will have the opportunity to do so.
This means that Littlewick patients who require an on the day appointment will be seen by a nurse or doctor with The On Day Service. These appointments will still be held at Littlewick.
These appointments will also be available to patients registered other general practices in Ilkeston. This does not mean your care is being transferred to Littlewick Medial Centre
Contact the surgery as normal. A member of our reception team will ask what is wrong as per our surgery protocol.
If appropriate, you will be given a time to attend an appointment with a nurse or doctor from The On Day Service.
Using this service will effectively make more appointments available to our patients for urgent problems. This will in turn open up more routine, pre-bookable appointments to see a GP at your registered surgery.
We understand that it may take some adjusting to, for both patients and staff, and so we ask for your patience whilst we work to improve your care

At Littlewick, we understand that intimate examinations can be stressful and embarrassing for patients. As a result, all patients have the opportunity to have a chaperone present during their examination.
Before any examination, the clinician will explain the procedure clearly and will then ask if you would like a chaperone.
If for any reason, a chaperone is unavailable but you have requested one, you may be asked to rearrange the examination for another time.
Littlewick Medical Centre accepts patients living within the surgery boundary lines.
